2ofaKind.com Review

This isn’t the typical dating site

2ofaKind is more of a matchmaking site, kind of like the computer dating services that you don’t see much of anymore. They cater to Heterosexual, gay and Lesbian clients and the folks who run the site seem friendly, accessible and provide great customer service.

What impressed me right away about this site was the unique format and how much fun it is to fill out your free match profile. It gets very detailed so you should be able to find someone who you are compatible with in your area. You list things like eating habits, philosophies, hobbies and goals, and of course the usual things as well.

So what makes this different from other dating sites? For starters, you don’t search through hundreds of personal ads, wasting time sifting through profiles you aren’t interested in. No, 2ofaKind takes your profile and compares it with thousands of profiles in their database to find ones that match yours. Then they email you the list of possible matches for you to look at and decide who you may want to contact. What a complete time saver for those seriously looking for compatible mates without scouring through profile after profile.

The system makes sure that you meet each others qualifications before they email them as possible matches so you can always feel secure about whom they suggest. You design your own compatibility scoring system based on up to 150 traits, interests and preferences. There is no essay writing, psychology test or searching required, ever. You just set your criteria once in your account settings and 2ofaKind will email your matches and forward your messages right to your inbox. It is that easy! You can do quite a bit on the site for free so check it out.

One thing I would like to bring to your attention. If you have considered signing up with eHarmony, may I suggest you give 2ofaKind a try first. I DO NOT recommend eHarmony on my site anymore. They are much more expensive and I don’t feel it is a good value for you if you decide to upgrade from a free acount. Now I would like to touch on who this site isn’t for. If you enjoy looking through hundreds of profiles, and profile pics, you won’t like 2ofaKind. This is a true matchmaking site and not a typical dating “community”. I like 2ofaKind a lot and I recommend it to anyone who is seriously looking for a mate. I do not recommend it for those of you who enjoy the community aspect of an online dating site. If you like chat rooms, profile pics, and sorting through hundreds of profiles, read some of my other reviews, such as my Iwantu review or my Sexyads review. You will be happier with sites like that.
