Ok, I met this guy in a play and he was really awesome to me during it. Then when the play ended he told me he would call me but never did. Then he started telling people that he wished I would leave him alone. The thing is I never said anything to him or even talked about him, so now I am afraid that people think I’m some desperate chick.

I wish I could say something to this guy to tell him know how I feel about the whole situation. Is that a good idea? What should I do if i see him? What does he think? Does he like me and isn’t sure what to do or is he just a nut?

He sounds like a nut to me. Do you really care what he thinks? Do you want him to like you after this? I say, don’t have any further contact with him. Now if this happened to me, I would want to confront the jerk in front of everyone, and maybe rip his lips off, but I don’t recommend you do that. It sounds like the guy craves attention and why give it to him?

I know you are frustrated because he lied to your friends. Just tell your friends the truth and if they really are your friends, they will believe you. As for other people, you can’t control what they think, so don’t even try. If you give this a lot of attention, it will keep getting bigger. If on the other hand, you dismiss this as just an annoyance, and let yourself rise above it, other people will get the message and they will see right thru this guy.

How do you get back at this guy? Don’t give him the satisfaction of a reaction. Ignore him. If he says something to you, don’t even talk to him, just keep walking. Without any ammo, he will look like a water pistol in a gun shop. When it comes time to fire, all he can do is squirt. Hang in there sweetie. - Kelly
